The money flow
Nobody is out of pocket at the wrong moment. Here’s exactly when money moves.
1. Sender pays
Payment is captured up front and held in escrow — not sent to the traveller yet.
2. Held securely
Funds sit protected while the item is carried. Either side can see the status.
3. Delivered
The traveller hands over; the sender confirms receipt on the platform.
4. Released
Only then is the payout released to the traveller. Minus a small service fee.
If something goes wrong
Items are covered up to $5,000 end to end, with a risk-based deposit from the traveller.
If you can’t agree, our team steps in and reviews the evidence from both sides.
If a delivery fails, the escrowed funds are returned to the sender — not lost.
